Kayak Nature Adventures: If you’re exploring the St. Petersburg area and want to wet a paddle, call Kurt and let him outfit you and show you some of the wilder side of the area. After your paddle, have Kurt direct you to nearby O’Mady’s Bar and Restaurant ( ) for excellent food, drinks andentertainment–all in a beautiful setting by the water. Florida’s Eden –  This wonderful organization is a nonprofit citizen initiative partnering to unite 30 counties of North Florida, creating one identifiable region for the purpose of protecting our natural resources and building a sustainable and prosperous economy.

Florida’s Pure Water Wilderness – Pure Water Wilderness, a non-profit organization formed in 2000, is the Dixie-Gilchrist-Levy Tourism Development Board. The goal of this three-county consortium of board members is to promote natural and historic-based tourism in the area, as well as educate the public about our unique and pristine ecosystems.

Lola Haskins: Poet –   Lovers of poetry will want to check out Lola’s work. Those on the fence about poetry, even more so!

Green Heron Art Studio (Elayne Duben)- Art lessons and exhibits in nearby Alachua. Be sure to check out their upcoming art show, to be held at the Alachua Civic Center on April 30, 2010 from 6 – 10 PM.
